I found out this is the Latin name for the eucalyptus seeds we will be growing.....Apparently this type is the kind you typically see in our local nurseries during summertime....Why...cause this variety can actually grow and thrive here. Although it does sound like even this variety might need to be brought inside to overwinter. I think I'll try one outside and one inside during the winter. Apparently they don't like phosphorous...so miracle grow would be a no no... just provide nitrogen. And I hear their easy to grow from seed, and like lots of sun... Oh and check out the picture below....Yes it can really grow into a tree this big!!!
