  Today I discovered with much delight that my orchid has bloomed!!! I got my orchid last January to decorate a seemingly drab winter room...liven the place up... a year later I'm graced with the blooms return...Last year the orchid bloomed for about 2 months before fading away...So I have many more days to enjoy the view. For me an orchid represents "Patience", because the growth and bloom cycle can seem to take an eternity. It teaches that though the wait is bitter the bloom is worth the wait!!!
