"Day 2" Ideas and More Cleanup..

Yesterday was our loveliest day so far!! It actually felt like Spring! The official start day of Spring this year is March 20th, which is the Spring Equinox. A day when light and dark are in perfect harmony. This past weekend we moved our clocks up one hour and all this week we have enjoyed more daylight. The other day it was 8 o'clock before it got dark outside....Just love that!! But back on target..Yesterday it was 70 degrees outside!! Woohooo!! I actually got hot outside working and maybe even the beginnings of a tan to boot..Alas, today were back down to temperatures in the 20's and a chance of snow later...Really?? But we got so much done in the garden the last couple days I don't even care. I'm real excited about getting the ball rolling down there and making sure were on target for when planting time starts. To often I don't get things ready for the little seedlings or plants..so I have to wait to put them in..That's not giving them their best chance..Preparation is everything..This year I want to stay motivated and more so Enjoy our Garden.. Gardens are meant to be enjoyed and loved, and nurtured...the and's could go on and on..But we all have alot of ideas for this years garden..the love is there and that's whats important..That love was gone and because of it..the garden fell in to disrepair.. No More!!

Notice the garden pictures!! Were planning on building a garden gazebo..I love the curtain idea..In the old days we used to have a gazebo with white curtains around it similar to the one pictured. I love the gazebo above. I'm not sure if it be hard to build!! Currently we have a fire pit similar to the one pictured here to the left. Perhaps we will jazz things up a bit..with a new one. I've noticed in all the photos of fire pits I've looked at they always have gravel or some other material as a base for the fire pit..Hmm...something to keep in mind!! This one pictured below is neat and would be a way to make use of our old cauldron..smile. Maybe we could buy that concrete base at a place like Concrete Lady! The picture at the bottom looks very cozy and not very difficult to build. This would be perfect for toasting marsh mellows! Time to hit Home Depot!
