Harvest of Honor!

Yesterday was the annual Harvest Homecoming Pumpkin Decorating Contest, a big event as far as I'm concerned...smile. We all work really hard on decorating our pumpkins. This year the festival's theme is "Harvest of Honor" which is geared towards honoring our troops, and those who have served and defended our fine nation. We decided to decorate 7 pumpkins, one for each child and do the branches of the military, including Army, Marines, Navy, and Air Force, though we omitted the Coast Guard...sorry. We also did a pumpkin for George Washington and one for Ulysses. S Grant. Drum roll........ We won! First in our group, and we took home the Theme award which is the large over all trophy. So 2 trophies in all.. Yippie! Congratulations! Here are some photos of the day...
